Step inside five decades of community, rebellion and radio with the 4ZZZ 50th Birthday Exhibition, a vivid visual journey through Brisbane’s most iconic community station, from 1975 to 2025.
The exhibition dives deep into the sights, sounds, and spirit of 4ZZZ: with over 80 posters from the 4ZZZ collection, from radiothons, gigs and protests to intimate photographs of the people and moments that shaped its story. Explore film footage, vintage studio gear, and hands-on relics like mixing consoles, subscriber cards, news articles and tapes that echo the DIY heart of independent broadcasting.
Celebrate 50 years of music, activism, and community and enjoy a week of events in the space with outside broadcasts from your favourite 4ZZZ shows, panels and gigs surrounded by iconic 4ZZZ ephemera!
