Come see the legendary Reclink Community Cup match where the Brisbane Lines (media) face off with the Rocking Horses (musicians) to raise funds for Reclink Australia.

The annual match is heading to Brisbane for a third time after becoming a staple in the calendar of sports and music lovers in Melbourne since it kicked off in 1993 to raise money for Reclink Australia's work with disadvantaged communities.

Games will be held in six capital cities and one territory across Australia. This year the Brisbane Lines and the Rocking Horses will face off at the Bendigo Bank Oval in Stafford on Sunday 29 July for a tiebreaker match. The Rocking Horses won game one in 2016 and the Brisbane Lines' took the cup last year.

This year's theme is based on the iconic Sly & The Family Stone song 'Everyday People'. There'll be plenty of live music on the day as well as footy!

The Reclink Community Cup celebrates Australia's dynamic music and community broadcasting sectors all while raising funds to help Reclink Australia provide sporting and art opportunities for disadvantaged Australian's.

With humble beginnings in 1993, the Melbourne game now attracts more than 10,000 people and raises more than $100,000 for Reclink Australia each year.

Reclink Australia is a not-for-profit organisation with the aim to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage or facing significant barriers to participation, through providing new and unique sports and arts opportunities and specialist recreation programs.

Reclink Australia targets some of the community's most vulnerable and isolated people: at risk youth, those experiencing mental health illness, people with a disability, the homeless, people tackling alcohol and other drug issues and social and economic hardship.
