Description: Come along with Linda from 4ZZZ Alphabet Soup’s Talkin’ Bushwalkin’, as she wants to show you her favourite hikes around Brisbane! We will take this walk up to Little Mermaid Lookout that features a spectacular view over Lake Manchester and the distant Toowoomba Ranges. At this natural lookout, we will stop for a rest and a spot of morning tea, before making our way back down.
Trail notes: The trail is mostly wide fire trail, easy to follow but is mainly uphill/downhill. It has an elevation gain of about 400m. This is not a particularly difficult hike, but some level of fitness is required. The track is dog friendly on leads, but please be responsible for your pet and be aware that other people may also bring dogs along. This track takes us to a natural lookout, so also be aware that cliff edges are present. Your host will bring a basic first aid kit and emergency beacon. The start of the track has no facilities.
