A Brisbane autism charity is set to close unless it can get ongoing funds from the Queensland State Government.

Autism Behavioral Intervention Queensland Manager, Sharon Horan, said she has asked for assistance from both the State Government and the National Disability Insurance Scheme but both organisations advise she is ineligible for funding.

In response, Sharon Horan and Opposition Minister for Disabilities, Communities and the Elderly, Dr Christian Rowan, M.P. have set up an E Petition requesting the Queensland Government provide ongoing support to ABIQ.
