CFMEU flag hangs off a construction site | Stephanie Felesina

When civil construction workers walkout on Cross River Rail projects across the state, they did it in solidarity. Protesting working conditions, unstable management, pay and safety concerns - all things considered a given on a government and tax payer funded job were anything but. Journalist Stephanie Felesina spoke with CFMEU national president Jade Ingham about what lead the workers to strike and what it means for the future of the Cross River Rail Project.
