4ZZZ reporter Rachel Bollerman spoke with Jill Pickering, the President of the Australian Brumby Alliance about the organisation’s fight to stop Parks Victoria culling of brumbies in the Alpine National Park.
A number of lobbyists have been involved in litigation in an effort to stop the culling, with the latest ruling from the Supreme Court allowing the culling to go ahead.
Parks Victoria plans to use on the ground shooting and thermal imaging technology to eradicate the brumby population in the Bogong High Plains.
