In early May 2023, 65 year-old Kevin Darmody died after being attacked by a Saltwater Crocodile at Kennedy’s Bend in far-North Queensland. Mr Darmody’s death was the 13th death due to a crocodile since 1985, but some are calling for culls to manage the reptile’s population in the far-north. 4ZZZ Journalist Stephanie Felesina begins this story in conversation with Robbie Katter.
