With the election fast approaching, the 4ZZZ Newsroom has been hard at work gathering all the news from the campaign trail. 4ZZZ journalist Samuel O'Brien sat down with Stephen Bates, Greens candidate for the seat of Brisbane, to chat about his campaign and some of the issues facing South East Queensland communities.
The seat of Brisbane is situated right on Brisbane CBD. It runs along the north of the river from Milton to the Gateway Bridge, and also extends north up to Clayfield and Lutwyche and out to Kelvin Grove and parts of Stafford. The ABC has identified this seat as significant for this election with current LNP member Trevor Evans holding it by a four point nine percent margin. 4ZZZ journalist Samuel O'Brien spoke to Greens candidate Stephen Bates about his campaign and vision for the electorate.
