With the election fast approaching, the 4ZZZ Newsroom has been hard at work gathering all the news from the campaign trail. 4ZZZ journalist Samuel O'Brien sat down with Vinnie Batten, Greens candidate for the seat of Dickson, to chat about his campaign and some of the issues facing South East Queensland communities.
The seat of Dixon is situated north of Brisbane and into the Moreton Bay Region. It covers the suburbs of Samford and Dayboro all the way to Kallangur and Murrumba Downs, including Albany Creek, Strathpine and Petrie. The ABC has identified this seat as significant for this election with current LNP defence minister Peter Dutton holding it by a four point six percent margin. 4ZZZ journalist Samuel O'Brien spoke to Greens candidate Vinnie Batten about his campaign and vision for the electorate.
