Research shows Hong Kong remains the most expensive place to rent accommodation in Asia for expats.
The international employee consultancy firm released their annual accommodation reports, which ranks rental costs of more than 240 locations around the world to assist companies in housing mobile employees.
Regional Director of ECA International’s Asian branch, Lee Quane, says high population density and a consistently limited supply of accommodation contributed to Hong Kong topping the list.
