Freshly elected Labor councillor Kara Cook has warned Lord Mayor Graham Quirk to watch out for Labor.
Ms Cook said her election win has sent out a very clear message to Mr Quirk that Labor is going after the LNP in the next council election.
Opposition Leader, Peter Cumming says that the priority for Labor heading up into the next election is winning more seats, and getting rid of Councillor Quirk.
The next Brisbane City Council election will be held in 2020.
