Brisbane’s growing population has called for an extra $150,000 per year towards extending the route of a current high-frequency express bus service.

The Maroon CityGlider, carrying upwards of 1.2 million commuters each year, will be expanded to carry passengers to Coorparoo, where it is expected to meet the demands of the rapidly developing suburb.

Translink and Brisbane City Council are taking an equal share in funding the route’s extension where it will reach Stop 23 at Coorparoo Junction, in Coorparoo Square.
