One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has called for families of immigrants who commit crimes to be deported.

Under the measures proposed by Hanson, immigrants who commit crimes and their families would face deportation under “certain circumstances”.

The controversial announcement comes amid “migrant gang violence” in Victoria being reported in the media as being on the rise.

This is despite the overall crime rate in Victoria falling for the first time in six years last year, according to the state’s Crime Statistics Agency.
