Cyclists throughout Queensland are being encouraged to use bike-mounted cameras to record road-rage and dangerous driving, as part of an incentive by advocacy group, Bicycle Queensland.

However, the RACQ voiced concerns the campaign may exacerbate tensions between motorists and cyclists, having a negative effect on cyclists’ safety, contrary to the goals of Bicycle Queensland campaign.

The campaign will include instructions on which types of cameras to mount, and how to use them to enhance video quality in order to increase chances of prosecution to offending motorists.
