French dairy group Lactalis, has admitted it may have produced salmonella-strained milk since 2005, with the food safety crisis bound to grant the company a hundred million euro debt.
Lactalis recalled 12 million tins in France and around the world, after more than 200 babies were exposed to be bacterial disease since 2005.
Lactalis chief Emmanuel Besnier, said Lactalis was permanently closing one of its facilities due to the outbreak.
