Premiers from Queensland, Victoria and South Australia are beginning to express their concerns over the federal government’s latest funding offer, with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull calling an extra $30 billion ‘generous’.

However Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has said he can't support the deal with the government providing only 45% of funding, describing a proper partnership as ‘50-50’.

South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill has also dismissed the deal, and says if the government can fund company taxes, ‘they can find more money for hospitals’.
