The Climate Council is warning Queensland that climate change will soon affect the state’s multi-billion dollar industry.

A report recently published is claiming that Queensland’s most iconic beaches and Great Barrier Reef are under threat.

The Queensland Government has marked $256 million over the next five years to improve reef water quality, with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull also announcing a $60 million plan to deal with farm runoff and the coral-eating crown-of-thorns starfish.
