New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman has filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein and his company, saying the misconduct the company enabled was some of the worst his office has investigated.
The suit is to ensure the Weinstein brothers and their management team do not receive the full $500 million from the company’s sale, and to end the pattern of abuse.
Mr Schneiderman said the company’s management was clearly aware of and complicit in the sexual misconduct taking place.
