Finding parking spots in Brisbane's inner city could become increasingly difficult under the Council’s plan to introduce several new parking permits.
Under the proposal, the new permit system would introduce changes including the phasing out of parking permit stickers, while adding new types of permits for businesses, short term stay and car share.
The decision comes after many residents voiced their disapproval of the previous 22-year-old system, which saw commuters abusing loopholes in certain permits.
