A pod of dolphins was spotted surfacing near South Bank and the CBD in the Brisbane River but it is unlikely they’ll stay for long.
Griffith University Smart Water Research Centre researched Olaf Meynecke said it was unusual for the dolphins to be in the Brisbane River.
Dr Meynecke said that the dolphins were most likely in the Brisbane River looking for baitfish to eat.
