Brisbane fuel prices expected to rise

Brisbane fuel prices are expected to rise almost 20 cents in the coming days.

The average price of petrol at service stations was predicted to rise to almost $1.50 per litre, if the current round of price hikes continues.

Renee Smith, an RACQ spokeswoman has said that 25% of Brisbane service stations have put their prices up as the city begins to approach the expensive phase of the petrol price cycle.
