The search for missing Brisbane rower Mark Roome continued today with a focus on recovering his body.
The sixty-three year old was reported missing by his rowing companions at 4:40am on Wednesday after they became separated due to windy conditions. His vessel found overturned near West End.
Shortly after 2pm on Wednesday, divers investigating an "anomaly" on sonar found several small items on the bottom of the river believed to belong to Mr Roome.
Water police called off the search 7pm last night due to poor visibility and resumed at first light this morning.
