Hundreds of Cambodians living in Australia plan to rally against Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, when he arrives at the South-East Asian Leaders Summit in Sydney next month.
In a recent speech, Hun Sen responded with threats to “beat up” protesters and warns Australia not to place pressure on him over the country’s political crackdown.
Hun Sen has shutdown many independent news outlets and dissolved the main opposition party last year.
