Moreton Bay residents are working together to reduce the amount of abandoned dogs being put down.
Fay Vogelzang, Founder of animal rescue organisation, A Mini Rescue, said they have reduced the Rockhampton Pound’s euthanasia rates of all their animals to less than 100 animals per year.
They use online pledges to help fund the transport of these animals as well as getting them wormed, vaccinated and desexed.
