A young Indonesian woman's death has exposed a flourishing syndicate of human trafficking in Malaysia from Indonesia's poor eastern islands.
Adelina Sau was employed as a domestic maid and was allegedly starved, tortured and left to die outside her employers home in Malaysia.
Agency Migrant Care says approximately 120 Indonesians have been killed in Malaysia since 2016 as a result of being the victim of human trafficking and domestic abuse.
