Arctic temperatures have risen to 25 degrees above normal in the middle of what is supposed to be an arctic winter.

The northernmost weather station in the world, Cape Morris Jesup, recorded more than 24 hours of temperatures above freezing according to the Danish Meteorological Institute.

A Physicist at the University of California Berkeley, said that although the sun set in October and won’t be seen again until March, in perpetual night; temperatures are still above freezing.
