Michael McCormack has officially been chosen as the new Nationals leader, becoming Australia’s new Deputy Prime Minister.
Mr McCormack has been promoted to Cabinet and will take over the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry.
Previous Nationals leader, Barnaby Joyce, formally quit Monday morning and will now sit as a backbencher.
