UN report showcases Australia’s unethical migration policies

During Australia’s first week on the UN human rights council, the country has been reported to possess repressive and abusive migration policies.

UN’s reporter, Nils Melzer, gives a 20-page report to the human rights council, explaining the policies of Australia prevent people from migrating and cause harm to those who do.

The policies include boat push-backs, mandatory and indefinite detention, and offshore processing.
