Retail giant Walmart announced yesterday they will no longer sell firearms and ammunition to people under the age of 21 in wake of the Florida high-school shooting.

The move comes after America's biggest firearm retailer, Dick's Sporting Goods, said they will also cease the sale of guns to people under 21 and pledged to stop selling assault style rifles.

However, Federal law in the US still allows people over the age of 18 to purchase semi automatic rifles and other weapons.
