Entsoe, a company representing electricity transmission operators across 25 European countries said bedside clocks had slowed down by up to six minutes since mid-January.
The time slow is alleged to be caused by the dispute between Kosovo and Serbia which affected Europe’s power grid.
The countries affected were from Spain to Turkey and Poland to the Netherlands, the UK and Nordic countries were not affected and electricity has been stabilised to the clocks.
