A man has unintentionally blown up his kitchen in Mount Isa on Wednesday when he used fly spray as a flamethrower.
The father of three was trying to rid his home of cockroaches using fly spray and a lit flame when he blew up his kitchen in the process.
The man was taken to hospital to treat abrasions on his body and his children were not harmed in the accident.
