Bones found in 1940 on a Western Pacific Ocean Island are quite likely the remains of the famous aviator Amelia Earheart
University of Tennessee anthropologist Richard Jantz says a study and other evidence point toward her rather strongly.
Earheart disappeared during an attempt to fly around the world in 1937 and the answer to what happened to her has been a mystery ever since.
