A Brisbane woman has been fined $252 for trying to donate goods to Vinnies, but was accused of littering by the council.
Ruth Condon says she was only trying to do the right thing when she was caught on camera leaving her goods outside the charity store in Sumner Park.
The fine issued by Brisbane City Council acknowledges she was donating to charity out of kindness, but leaving items outside of the store is considered littering.
