A newly installed pedestrian bridge at Florida International University collapsed yesterday crushing six vehicles and killing 10 people.
The bridge cost $18.2 million, spanned 53 metres long and weighed 860 tonnes.
The Miami construction management firm contracted to build the bridge took its website down after the incident and Local Florida politician Mario Diaz-Balart told CBS there were going to be a lot of questions that have to be answered about what happened.
