A 2017 staff survey by Brisbane City Council, obtained by Fairfax Media, reveals less than 50 per cent of employees feel “inspired” at work, and only two-in-three think their “workplace is free from harassment and workplace bullying.”
The survey was completed by almost 6,000 employees and the results have been available to them for some time, although they weren’t made publicly available.
Lord Mayor Graham Quirk has defended his administration and said “It’s not all bad news” and that the important thing was they listened to their workers.
