DNA tests on a six-inch long mummified skeleton from Chile have confirmed it was a newborn that had genes associated with dwarfism, scoliosis and other skeletal abnormalities.

In addition to it’s cone shaped head, the body has multiple unusual features, such as its small stature and fewer than expected ribs.

Microbiology Professor at Stanford University, Garry Nolan, believes mutated genes are responsible for the skeleton’s disfigurement.
