In an enclave of Eastern Ghouta, the Faylaq al-Rahman, one of the remaining Syrian rebel groups, called for a ceasefire.
This truce was arranged by the UN and would become active at 22:00 GMT today.
The purpose of this ceasefire is to allow the rebel group and the Russian military, Syria’s ally, to discuss ensuring the safety of the citizens.
