The NRMA believes that P-platers should be rewarded for good driving with a free license and registration.
A report by the NRMA says rewarding P-plate drivers who have a clean record with a free license and a saving of $180 should encourage safe driving. It was also recommended that free registration should be offered to p-platers who drive five-star cars.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says she “will look at any proposal which helps reduce the road toll but more importantly, increases safety because all of us can be more proactive.”
