Several buildings in Queen St Mall could be demolished to make way for an outdoor cinema, a supermarket and a 40-storey commercial tower.
Investa Commercial Property Fund and Charter Hall have submitted an application to the Brisbane City Council proposing the development on the 4334-square-metre site.
There are four buildings on the site, including Clive Palmers old CBD headquarters, which were put up for sale in 2016.
