At least 68 people was killed in a fire that swept through a Venezuelan police station on Wednesday.
Townspeople say the fire erupted in the jail after a disturbance involving detainees, but are being denied any information about the casualties.
Venezuelan jails are notoriously overcrowded and inmates often suffer inhumane conditions, human rights groups have labelled this as the one of the worst jail disasters in Venezuelan history.
