Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull announced $84 million dollars worth of funding will be put towards improving mental health services in remote parts of Australia.
The funding will allow The Royal Flying Doctor Service, to employ between 40 and 50 more psychologists and mental health nurses.
Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack said just because you don’t live in a big city, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have access to mental health care.
