A french mayor has apologised for her April fools joke claiming Ikea was coming to town and bringing over 4,000 new jobs.
The town of 54,000 were not happy with the mayor taking to social media to express their anger towards the joke.
The mayor told French media she was sorry that “the sense of humour was not shared by everyone”.
