New research has found university education and living expenses will increase by 29 percent within a decade.
Research by ASG predicted the overall cost of a university education for students who rented would jump 29 per cent by 2028 compared to 23 percent for students living at home.
ASG chief executive Tim Mitchell-Adams says its likely young people will be encouraged to remain living at home for longer to cut costs.
