Chairman of DowDuPont, Andrew Liveris is donating $13.5 million to the University of Queensland to fund a research facility.

The centre seeks to identify students of all ages across the world who are passionate about addressing sustainability issues such as clean energy, clean water and food security in the face of climate change.

The new program will be housed in the Andrew N. Liveris building, an 11-storey engineering research hub to be constructed in University of Queensland’s faculty of engineering.
