On April the 11th a protest took place at the shopping centre Australia Fair as a part of the StolenWealth Games campaign. The campaign has bought First Nations people from all over Australia to the Gold Coast to draw attention to the issues that still effect the indigenous community. Protesting during the Commonwealth Games is a historical tradition dating back to 1982 when massive protests took place in Brisbane when they held the games. I visited what is known as Camp Freedom and then documented this protest and the push for a Historical Commission.
