Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has unexpectedly suspended parliament until next month as his power struggle continues.
Sixteen Politicians from the President’s party said they would leave the troubled coalition, as relations between rival groups in the government have soured.
This is in the aftermath of Sirisena reducing the Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s control over several institutions.
