First Queensland Indigenous Judge 'Breaks The Glass Ceiling'

Queensland’s first Indigenous Judge was appointed during a welcome ceremony in the District Court on Thursday.

Judge Nathan Jarro said he was honoured by the achievement and acknowledges the significance of his new role for the Indigenous community.

Judge Jarro identifies as Ghangulu on his father’s side and Bidjara on his Mother’s side.
