In commemoration of the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, thousands of people took part in a march from Auschwitz to Birkenau, both Nazi concentration camps situated in Poland,
The 3km march was led by Israeli president Reuven Rivlin this Thursday.
Additionally, citizens of Israel took part in Holocaust Remembrance Day by observing two minutes of silence.
