A recent study conducted by the University of Western Australia has shown that happy female sheep have a higher ovulation rate and more successful pregnancies.
The test looked at 200 Merino ewes, finding that specimens with a calm temperament weaned 10 to 19 percent more ewes when compared to those with nervous dispositions.
Agricultural scientist Dominique Blache said the study could help understand the impact of stress on women attempting to fall pregnant.
