Puerto Rico was left in an Island wide blackout after an excavator hit a transmission line on Wednesday.
Officials said the power has been restored to more than 1.4 million Puerto Ricans, but thousands of families are still without normal service.
The incident takes place seven months after hurricanes Maria and Irma devastated the country, leaving 3 million people without power.
